ProChoice Voter is all in! We are committing to de-throne the greatest threat to taking back the House — extremist MAGA Mike Lawler.
Just as ProChoice Voter demolished Democratic imposter IDC member David Carlucci in the 2020 primary, we are pledging to do whatever it takes, legally, to remove Lawler.
Simply put, Lawler is a bad man who votes to disenfranchise his constituents and deny people their constitutional rights, including abortion.
Lawler’s vote in support of Trump’s Big Corrupt Bill was THE deciding vote. The bill passed in the House by ONE VOTE, 215 to 214.
Lawler’s vote puts 36 million people nationwide at risk of losing healthcare coverage, including more than 2 million New Yorkers. Lawler advanced the most drastic overhaul to Medicaid since the program was founded.
And who benefits? The top 10th of American households. $4.5 trillion in tax cuts goes to the ultra-wealthy.
And people will starve. Lawler voted to take food out of the mouths of the most needy, including children and seniors. SNAP, the life-saving program formerly known as “food stamps,” helps over 40 million families nationally afford groceries each month, and 2,800,000 individuals in New York State. In CD 17, the district Lawler was elected to represent, that’s 66,704 individuals, 27,717 households.
