In CD 17, Trump’s lackey Lawler appears to be employing the same dirty tactics used in 2024 when an imposter candidate magically appeared on the Working Families Party (WFP) line. Simultaneously, hundreds enrolled as WFP voters to cast their ballots for that imposter. They successfully sabotaged the WFP Primary. It was a stealth move that worked, and cost the Democratic candidate both the WFP line and the General Election.
This go-round, it looks like another imposter has been corralled into running – this time in the Democratic Primary. He was a registered Republican until the third week of August 2025 – but now as a newly minted Democrat, he’s running in the CD 17 Democratic Primary. Mind you, the goal is not for him to win the Primary. Instead, it seems they want to pilfer enough votes from certain targeted candidates to push to the front – to win the Primary – the Democrat who Lawler believes he can most easily defeat in the General Election.
